It has been an incredible first year serving Special Education Evaluators and Direct Sales Consultants with tailored planners designed just for them. If you bought our planner last year you will discover a few new changes this year.
Based on your Reviews and feedback, we got to work to improve our options and purchasing experience for 2018 and the coming school year. Here are 4 big changes to make your year the best one yet.
1 - Plan It Express is now Blue Rocket Planners
Our first big announcement is that we changed our name, a task that makes naming your baby seem like a walk in the park. At least with your child you don't have to consider web domains or trademarks!
After several long weeks of debate, drafts, and occasional thumb wars, PlanIt Express Co has become Blue Rocket Planners. With this change comes a new website, www.bluerocketplanners.com, to provide a high definition picture of what we can offer you along with new customizable options.
2 - More Selection and Control in Designing Your Planner
When first developing the Evaluator Planner, we received a plethora of great ideas from colleagues, social media groups, and surveys. We took the best ideas and combined them all to create our original planner with the idea it would be everything any evaluator could possibly need. While the intent was good, it did not recognize our unique roles and needs although we share titles such as School Psychologist, Speech-Language Pathologist, or School Social Worker. In many ways the 2017-18 Evaluator planner was similar to going through the frozen yogurt line and adding every topping to your bowl. Kiwi and peanut butter cups and gummy bears and coconut are all delicious, but you don't always want everything at the same time!
For the 18-19 school year, you will be able to top off your planner with custom features based on your unique world. These toppings [we call them refills & add-ons] include student profiles, monthly service logs, phone contact logs, and much more. For example, as a school psychologist, I may have a heavy test load and would want additional Evaluation Tracker pages. My brother-in-law, a school psychologist in Boston, has a caseload and may be more interested in the Caseload-At-A-Glance and Monthly Service add-ons. Discover all the features available to you at our website.
3 - High Quality Planners, Faster Shipping
This year we will be collaborating with a local printing press, LithoTech, to bring you high quality planners that look and feel great. We are able to take this exciting step because of the amazing response and large volume of orders we had in our first year from our customers. Our first large order is in and we think you are going to love the results. We will use the same high quality paper as we did last year for an appealing look and feel and the durability to survive the school year. Also, the time between placing an order to your planner arriving at your door will be shorter.
4 - New Planners Available
Our final announcement is a big one: we have added two new planners to our lineup!
After conversations with hundreds of special education teachers, we are excited to offer the SpecializED Teacher Planner. We have not found another planner anywhere quite like it and we think our special education teacher friends will absolutely love it.
A special education teacher will be able to craft and customize a planner in the same way as our SpecializED Evaluator Planner. Do you Know a special education teacher who prefers a paper planner? Tell them about this great new planner that will meet all their unique needs.
The SpecializED Evaluator Planner includes a Caseload-At-A-Glance section to keep track of key dates and progress reports. Other features include Student Profile pages to keep track of progress monitoring data, schedules and more while the Discipline Tracker can visually keep track of removals in order to determine Change of Placement decisions and when a Manifestation Determination Review is required.
We are just as excited to announce the release of our new Health Care Planner for 2018. Developed in consultation with doctors, nurses, dietitians, and other members of the health care team, the Health Care Planner will help you keep track of medications, appointments, contact information, symptoms, and more and follows the traditional January through December Year. We also have an optional blood sugar log add-on pack developed by a dietitian for those with diabetes or pre-diabetes. This planner is great for patients and care givers alike needing to keep track of detailed health care information.
We are always on the lookout for ways to improve our planners and your recommendations and ideas are appreciated. Many of the changes this year have come from you and we thank you for the great ideas. We enjoy hearing from you and seeing pictures of you using your planners. We can be reached at email@example.com or on our Facebook page. We are looking forward to another fantastic year! Happy planning!
